I could not wait to share another favourite family lifestyle session that I have been able to have the honour of photographing. When being asked to photograph two talented, connected and artistic individuals, Kelly & Dan with their girls, Satori & Ruby, I was instantly beside myself in excitement. It was such a fun, colourful, lighthearted, engaging and happy adventure and so heartwarming to have the chance to see them again. Ruby was only a week old the last time we met, my how time goes quickly.
This family session was filled to the brim with the delights of all these amazing fun-filled things;
Laughter. Icecream. Emotive connections. Gift giving. Book reading. Guitar playing and practice. Daddy & daughter jam session. One on one moments of togetherness. Family snuggles and a sleepy baby.
Who say’s a photo session needs to be all about posing and looking at the camera….There is SO much joy and real authentic emotion and connection when doing the things you love to do with the ones you love. A little planning ahead of time to create the moments that are held dear in your heart is the only inspiration you need. We connect by discussing these details ahead of time so that we can get the most out of being in the moment on the day and leave the rest up to ME!!! 🙂
