There are no earthly boundaries a parents love cannot conquer for the will and unconditional bond they have for their child. Be in heaven or earth side, these children bring with them a wise knowing, miracles and joy amongst all. With new beginnings and their unique stamp on the world, they move mountains. Two little girls I know have made these ripples in the lives of the people around them, me included.

Eva Joyce & Lilian Eva.

Baby Eva…I met this beautiful little girl on her first and last day. Cradled in the safe and loving arms of her parents, Amanda & Jim, she came for just a short time, yet her presence so strong and loving. Through her legacy so much change of goodness has evolved. With the support of community, family and friends, Amanda and Jim have raised funds to donate a Cuddle Cot to a hospital to benefit others in this unimaginable circumstance. Eva is the kind of soul that is very very hard to forget. She makes your heart open like never before and has the ability to bring so much love to others, with a simple sign, a glimpse of her name in font or that rainbow that beams across the sky, telling her mum and dad she is near.

And a rainbow she helped choose to bring into reality.

Lilian Eva, named after her big sister, is the sunshine that lights a path through a storm. HOPE that while sadness will always be present, her gift of purity, unconditional love and hope for happiness that can melt into the core of sadness and bring love to broken longing hearts. Whilst the journey of a rainbow baby is a tough gig, her parents, Amanda and Jim, are without a doubt so eternally grateful and most in love with all that she is. A gift from heaven.

It was such a touching and humble experience to walk this journey with them and photograph this monumental family milestone.

Welcome to the World little Lilian Eva x

Every journey through pregnancy is different and unique. Every single one bares the breath and hope of new life. Some experience a pregnancy safely and some a little shorter than others but the same truth that is held within each and every heartbeat, is a love so unconditional, no boundaries of time nor space, could defy them.

It is my passion, as an artist and a bereaved mother, to design a creative healing space to honour and acknowledge every. single. little. soul. that has touched yours! Be that they are in your arms today, or within your heart!

Experiencing my own journey through love and grief with deep compassion and empathy, that I felt this need rise within me and a part of me awaken.

“Love is LOVE and your child deserves to be celebrated.”

Life has somewhat shown me, through great loss and love, that what can break us, can also bring us together. What was once such a lonely dark and unfamiliar place, HOPE can grow. It takes a community to survive the heartbreak of bereavement and on my journey I have been blessed to find an abundance of amazing supporting people who have entered my life where this pain broke through.

It is through this time in my life that my passion to create meaningful personalised art to soothe the brokenhearted found me. I am being led by heart, opening my vulnerability and honouring the two little loves in my life whom have changed me for the better. And so it is, on the 6th year anniversary, 24th September 2016, of our little lost twin, together with our angel baby, Ava… that I offer officially to be of service to you in this way.

To speak your child’s name is an honour.

To nurture your heart,

listen to your words,

and create something magical from the pain you carry,

is my most greatest gift I give to you.

~ Nicole

“WITHIN MY HEART, I CARRY YOU”
healinghearts, wollongongbereavementphotographer, wollongongbereavementphotography, babyloss, miscarriage, memorial, quotes,

In the dark of night, where silence filled the air, I swayed with you softly and gently.

Your little face with those long eye lashes gently closed and dreaming, I looked upon you.

I breathed in every part of you.

I closed my eyes in that moment, freezing this time in my memory.

It was the purity of silence, where love fell upon you and washed away the struggles of the day we left behind.

My child, it all began with you.

Two Thousand and Ten. This is where Hush was born. Inspired by my children the first of many, 6 to be exact, and passionately grown to give to others through my creativity and love of photography. I am so pleased you are here to join me and embark on what I feel is a new beginning for Hush Photography. We are more refined, we’ve grown and life experiences have given Hush a new understanding, compassion and strength to uplift, inspire and create for you and your family.

My style has developed over time and my true love for the honesty in lifestyle photography has truly ignited a new love of photography within me. I am so excited and so grateful for this in my life. Having a crazy, love-filled home has no doubt contributed for my passion in documenting the real, everyday moments that we often take for granted. The unstaged moments that make your child, your child. These are the  moments that I don’t want you to miss when you look back on this fleeting time whilst your little ones still reach up to you on tippy toes, jump into your bed for snuggles, giggle around the house playing make believe and dragging every which item to construct that bed sheet cubby in your loungeroom. Every single moment, if even what feels like the mundane today, will be the little things that add up to mean the most in the future. I look forward to capturing them for you!

Thank you for being here and for joining me on this new adventure of our next beginning.
